My supplements: Protein here!/ BCAA here!/ PWO here!/ Shaker here!

;-) Time to sleep, puss hjärtan! <3

//Packed and ready for Cape Town!! I bring my amino acids as always, great to have when you need that extra energy. I thought I would tell you what and when I use these products, a lot of you have asked. :-) Protein powder is something I take straight after every workout and mix it with water or milk, I’ve been waiting for this flavor… Chocolate and coconut, do I need to say more? I also use one scoop in my porridge every morning, will show you the “recipe” soon. Amino acids (BCAA) is pretty new for me, this one really makes you addicted. I drink it during workout but also when I need that extra energy, it’s best to take on an empty stomach. This PWO is the best one I’ve tried, before this I couldn’t find anyone that worked or it made me feel sick. There’s a huge difference on the ones out there! Take it 30 min before workout, and after that I can’t stay at home since my entire body wants to work out. Perfect pep if you don’t feel like working out, plus you get more energy during the session according to me. Many people say supplements is unnecessary, but for me it helps a lot and makes it easier. Get more energized before workout, great energy during it and protein easy afterwards. The code JANNI15 gives you 15% off, you won’t get disappointed with the tastes. ;-) Time to sleep, hugs loves! <3

what exactly is the difference between the Amino acids and the PWO? you wrte you drink the BCAA when you need some extra energie and then you wrote that when you drink the PWO you get some extra energie as well.

i just dont get what exactly does BCAA?

    • FEMIMAL says:

AMINO acids gives a feeling of fullness and helps your muscles to rebuild and don’t breakdown and you feel more recovered. PWO is something you take only in purpose of getting energy, like when you drink your coffee. Both gives energy but in different ways.

Hej Janni, älskar verkligen din blogg o läser den dagligen. Ville bara kommentera – har du kollat innehållet i BCAA’n? Den innehåller Aspartam(!) och färgmedel??

  • Heej :)
Vet du om produkterna är dopingtestade ?:)

    • FEMIMAL says:

Alla produkter är svensktillverkade, helt dopingfria såklart samt certifierats med GMP och HACCP-standard.

I reckon indeed supplements can be good but esp for people like Alexandra bring. I do not think advertising this kind of product to some of your younger readers / audience who for instance do not really know their impact and how it works is a good idea, far from it.
I do understand you want to give a shout out to your friend who created the brand but this post upsets me quite a lot, it sounds like poor advertising and does not even contain proprer information on the product “you take this and you feel like working out”. This is very upsetting !
I am really sorry to say this, I am always here to say nice things but complements are something that can fuck your system up if you don’t use them smartly and I am so surprised by this post which sounds like tv- shopping.

Interesting, I’m not a very young reader but I still don’t get in what way this kind of complements can fuck up the system… Can you explain a bit more? I work out a lot but havent taken any complements, but I’m considering to do so since it’s an efficient way when you not have time for cooking properly.

This is the first time that I comment on your blog and I can tell you that you just lost a big fan. I have to agree with the above comment that it sound like you are promoting a product via TV-shop. You are a role model for so many young readers and your above statement make you sound like a bimbo. There are some serious health risks with taking supplements even though they are all natural and tested under Swedish standards. Most won’t make you any stronger, and none will make you any faster or more skillful. There is no magic pill.
Many factors go into your abilities as an athlete, including your diet, how much sleep you get, genetics and heredity, and your training program. But the fact is that using sports supplements may put you at risk for serious health conditions.
So instead of turning to supplements to improve your performance, concentrate on nutrition and follow a weight-training and aerobic-conditioning program.
For example, Androstenedione (also known as andro) and dehydroepiandrosterone (also known as DHEA) are prohormones or “natural steroids” that can be broken down into testosterone. When researchers studied these prohormones in adult athletes, DHEA and andro did not increase muscle size, improve strength or enhance performance.
The side effects of these “natural” steroid supplements like DHEA and andro aren’t well known. But experts believe that, when taken in large doses, they cause effects similar to stronger anabolic steroids.
What is known is that andro and DHEA can cause hormone imbalances in people who use them. Both may have the same effects as taking anabolic steroids and may lead to dangerous side effects like testicular cancer, infertility, stroke, and an increased risk of heart disease. As with anabolic steroids, teens who use andro while they are still growing may not reach their full adult height. Natural steroid supplements can also cause breast development and shrinking of testicles in guys.
Creatine is already manufactured by the body in the liver, kidneys, and pancreas. It also occurs naturally in foods such as meat and fish. Creatine supplements are available over the counter, and teens make up a large portion of the supplement’s users.
People who take creatine usually take it to improve strength. The most common side effects of creatine supplements include weight gain, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and muscle cramps. People with kidney problems should not use creatine because it may affect kidney function. Fat burners (sometimes known as thermogenics) were often made with an herb called ephedra, also known as ephedrine or ma huang, which acts as a stimulant and increases metabolism. Some athletes use fat burners to lose weight or to increase energy — but ephedra-based products can be one of the most dangerous supplements. Evidence has shown that it can cause heart problems, stroke, and occasionally even death.
Because athletes and others have died using this supplement, ephedra has been taken off the market. Since the ban, “ephedra-free” products have emerged, but they often contain ingredients with ephedra-like properties, including bitter orange or country mallow. Similar to ephedra, these supplements can cause high blood pressure, heart attack, stroke, and seizures.
Many of these products also contain caffeine, along with other caffeine sources (such as yerba mate and guarana). This combination may lead to restlessness, anxiety, racing heart, irregular heart beat, and increases the chance of having a life-threatening side effect.

I don’t know what natural ingredients are in these natural supplement that you are promoting, these are just some examples. Please think before you speak, you have so many fans. Please promote healthy living, a balanced diet and exercise instead of magic powders.
Thank you and good bye from a very disappointed reader.

Hey and thanks for your comment. I think everyone have their own decision to make, I want to use these product since they help me out a lot when I’m on the run, need extra energy etc. Everyone is different, since I’ve gotten lots of questions about this I wrote and told you about what I use. Some people want to know and some people gets fed up, that’s life I guess. You can’t please everyone. :-) And I’m not talking about it as a magic pill, I use it when I workout to make it easier for me to get my extra protein for example. You still need to workout and eat right! But thanks a lot for the info, it’s good to know about these kind of stuff too. hugs!

    • Janni says:

Hey and thanks for you comment. For me who travels and most of the time is on the go it’s perfect, I just tell you guys what I use since I’ve gotten tooons of questions about it. I don’t try to sell it to everyone of you and I hope the young ones reading my blog have parents that can tell them what and what not to use. I’m glad you say what you think but I just write about what I use, so if you don’t like these kinds of products you don’t have to take note on this. :-) Hugs!
