Got to see how to make the chocolate pralines at Åre Chokladfabrik!

God morgon! Här var vi igår… Heaven! Vi bor hemma hos Håkan och Marina här i Åre, Marina är en av grundarna till Åre Chokladfabrik så igår fick vi komma in och kolla på hela processen. Det var så häftigt att se! När man ser de där strutarna i butik så förstår man inte allt handjobb bakom, utan tillsatser och all kärlek till varje liten pralin. Det är helt galet men dom gör runt 11 miljoner praliner per år! Det börjar med ren choklad, den smälts och blandas och hälls ut på en plåt, den svalnar och skärs upp. Varje liten pralin läggs för hand på ett band och sen hälls choklad över, åker igenom en kyl och sen ut och packas i strutar. Kan ju bara säga att det luktade gudomligt där inne, jag älskar choklad haha! Vi plockade på oss en stor påse med alla olika smaker så nu klarar vi oss ett tag. ;-) Frågade Marina om hon inte tröttnat på choklad ännu, men det hade hon inte haha! Snöoväder idag så det blir lugnt framför datorn, med lite choklad… Puss! <3

We live at Håkan and Marina’s place here in Åre, Marina is one of the founders of Åre Chokladfabrik so we got to go in and see the full process yesterday. It was so cool! When you see those cones in stores you don’t really get all the hand work behind it, no bad things added and all the love there is behind every praline. It’s crazy but they make 11 million pralines every year! It starts with pure chocolate, it melts and mixes and then gets poured on a plate, it cools and gets cut up. Every single praline gets placed by hand on a conveyor belt and then chocolate gets poured over it, goes through another cooler and then gets packed in to cones. I can just tell you it smelled like heaven in there, I love chocolate haha! We got a bag full of all the different flavours so I think we will be ok for now. ;-) I asked Marina if she’s tired of chocolate yet, but she wasn’t haha! Really snowing outside today so it’ll be a calm one in front of the computer, with some chocolate… Hugs! <3
